A moral dilemma

What do you do? I'm cleaning up my house, preparing
for a Christmas party when I flip over the couch and
find this (a widow). Do you kill the widow?
Do you let the widow go outside? I have neighbors who
have small children, what if the widow moves to their
house and a youngling gets bit because of my decision?
The widow wasn't bothering me, in fact, I was watching
Wall-E just last night on my couch and the widow was
probably watching peacefully under the couch. If I
kill the widow it feels so unreasonable but if
I don't who knows what could happen?

Egg Nog

You wanna know something good? This egg nog.
I was walking around in Henry's and I found this
awesome glass bottle with this awesome cow on it.
I said, "I must have this." Cassie said,"It's too
expensive, we already have egg nog at home." I said,
"I must have this."

It was quite possibly the best decision I have
ever made in a grocery store.

Prepare yourself

I'd like to offer all of my customers a special
opportunity to purchase a Solid Gold t-shirt for
only ten bucks the week of Nov. 29th to Dec. 5th.
Why you ask? The answer to that question is threefold;

1. 'Tis the season to give and be thankful
(Thanksgiving sales are SGHC's specialty)
2. Everybody I know needs a new Solid Gold shirt
3. I have to make room because I'm cooking up some
new designs

Please understand, I'm not a huge fan of sales as a
rule but since my competition (Macy's, Bloomingdales,
Nordstrom and Skymall)is cutting prices for Thanksgiving
weekend I decided I will too.

Check out possible purchases at sghcloth.com

Where the Wild Things Are

If you want to know pretty much exactly how I feel about this movie
go here.
They perfectly articulate what I've been feeling and trying
to explain to people who ask me why I loved it.

A Poem Called: Don't Look Now

I know, I know, you're probably asking yourself how I became such a poetical genius. It's a question I ask myself every single day.

Polaroid Resurrection

I went to Urban Outfitters the other day at space 15twenty (sadly, the coolest store I've ever been to) and they had this big exhibit of polaroid film...unopened and ready for purchase. I was shocked. After doing some snooping around and reading all the signs and clips around the exhibit I found this: The Impossible Project. A group of Polaroid lovers who have gone out on a limb and are trying to re-create the film for polaroid cameras. They bought a polaroid factory and they plan to make it happen by 2010. I really hope they do it. It would be beneficial for mankind as a whole to come behind this movement and support them. Long live the Polaroid!

Blazer

If you see someone wearing these shoes and they look like they wear a mens 10.5 or so..quickly sneak up behind them and cudgel them in the head with your wine bottle. Then, when they are unconscious, take the shoes and give them to me.

All that to say...I think these are quite awesome.

WWII

Since I'm in such a nostalgic mood (moving does that to you). I thought I would share some of my old World War II drawings I made when I was a young lad.

I don't particularly remember being into war and stuff but I guess for the few days I made these drawings I was. I like how I dated them. Age 13 and I was already cranking out wondrous works of art.

Discwasher

I love this thing. It's for cleaning vinyl records and it's one of my favorite possesions. I got it/stole it/borrowed it from runaround Joe and he says I can keep it as long as I make use of it. It's a real quality kit made out of real wood (no plastic) and it's in great condition. With this kit, you brush your records tenderly and pretend it's 1971.

Loser Goes 1st
Scot Nobles is a very talented artist and also happens to be a majorly fresh dude. I like his blog because it's just cool artwork. His technique is fresh and engaging and I really like the his choice of colors and patterns. Check it out and keep your eye on it because he's known to give away free pieces.

Charley Harper

This weekend I discovered Charley Harper. He is an American artist and he is brilliant. So brilliant in fact I purchased some alphabet flash cards with his work on it to 1. practice my ABC's and 2.become inspired by his amazing illustrations. His work is positively wonderful and I hope you enjoy card A and Z.

things I like on the internet (part 2)

If you eat meat you should read this blog.

Julia is really really into her meat and she does a top notch job of writing about it too. Right now, for May aka national burger month (bet you didn't know that), she is attempting to make a burger a day to perfect her culinary skills. Her pictures are really tasty and she even inspired me to go to the farmer's market and get meat to make a lamb burger...I cooked it tonite and honestly I kind of wish I would've taken it to her house so she could've cooked it up for me. But still I'll get better the more I read her blog. Yayeah.

The Death Troll Rises

The Booth

The Unique craft show was a grand ole time. We met a bunch of cool people, saw some really cool stuff, oh and sold some t-shirts.

This was our booth before...empty, lonely, ominous.

Then we transformed it into the headquarters of awesomeness. Pretty cool wouldn't ya say?

These illustrations were a doozy to make but were worth the trouble. It's hard to draw characters that are 6.5 feet tall in this life like manner. This one is Egypt. Cassie doesn't like but I think it's so fresh.

One fella stopped by our booth, pointed to this one and said, "this sh#@ is dope!" haha

The coolest girl came by and was so stoked on this one she asked if she could buy it! I said sure and she came by at the end of the show and got it. It made my day!

A vampire who is a fruititarian (and I think ole Cass is picking her nose...good one).

My favorite. Doug and Julia came by and bought this one. Super duper.

The one is called: robot of eminent doom and destruction

I heart blading and an astronaut.

Some fella from Chicago came and bought this one.
